Components of a Dynamic Hands-on Session

Neurostructural Integration Technique (NST) is an advanced form of Bowen Therapy – a well-developed soft tissue therapy – that will hit the reset button on your body and allows a window of opportunity for your body to heal.

It offers fast and effective pain relief using systematic gentle and specific moves to help your body to relax deeply. This is followed by a spontaneous automatic correction within the muscular, nervous, visceral and endocrine systems.

NST is highly effective for relieving back, neck, shoulder, wrist, knee and ankle pain as well as pain from accidents and sporting injuries. Eighty-five percent of those treated report noticeable pain relief after a few sessions.

Because it works on the neurological level as well as the physiological level, NST is also effective in alleviating stress, depression, chronic fatigue and tiredness.

NST allows for the next component to open up even more.

CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance.

Using a soft touch which is generally no greater than 5 grams – about the weight of a nickel –  restrictionsare released in the membranes and fluid that surround, protect and nourish the brain and spinal cord.  These are restrictions found between the bones of the head, jaw and spine including the sacrum – the tailbone.

Every day your body endures stresses and strains that it must work to compensate for. Unfortunately, these changes often cause body tissues to tighten and distort the craniosacral system. These distortions can then cause tension to form around the brain and spinal cord resulting in restrictions.

CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and it’s effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction.

When necessary, as in cases of very restrictive tissues, a specialized fascial technique is applied.

The Course of Applied Tensegrity (CoAT) is a gentle, yet very deep fascial releases which allow for fascial unwinding, and structural realignment.

Rather than pressing into the body, CoAT gently pulls the tissues out by lifting the skin and applying a slight twist.  Since all fascia on the inside is connected to the skin, unravelling happens at a very deep level and, possibly, in a distant part of the body from where the lifting is been done.

Other components of a hands-on session are massage (as needed) and energy work (as needed).  The energy work includes the Body/Emotion Code, Now Healing or Thought Field Therapy Tapping.

Access Consciousness Bars sessions are available, too, as a separate hands-on session not to be included with the above.
